Source: GettyTaking the utilitarian vibe one step further was Craig Green – fashions’ man of the moment (Style.com’s Tim Blank recently heralded him as THE one to watch) with design of the decade to boot. Green’s signature shape is the boxy outerwear silhouette, often layered with simple ties and fastenings.
He’s fast becoming my favourite designer in menswear but as with many runway collections, I start out not sure how wearable it is, but as soon as you see the pieces standing alone, picked apart from the collection, I realise they are easily styled with minimal outfit choices. I’m also dying to know if this is one jacket above, or 3 or four layered up. We wait and see.
