Living in the countryside, summer is something us Cornish folk take very seriously, and I'm the first to admit that I fully fit into the stereotypical beach bum cliché (although for some reason my hair never looks as good as it does in all those swimwear campaigns).
Despite loving to layer up in terms of fashion, I love being able to give my long johns a break (no, seriously) to fully embrace living in cami tops and denim cut-offs, which obviously means I need to top up on my tan to disguise those milk bottle legs of mine that have been in hiding for the past six months.
I'll cover myself in pretty much anything and everything that gives me a J-Lo glow, but my favourite tanner of the moment has to be the Cocoa Brown 1 Hour Tan. Because, let's face it, who likes waiting around for hours for that brown stuff to sink in?
Another thing I like to fake? Freckles. Bare with me on this one. I've been doing it for a few years now but ever since Topshop brought out their Freckle Pencil last year I've been completely addicted drawing dots on my nose. The steps a girl goes through to look 'natural'.
But the rest of my summer must-haves? A lot of ice cream, a lot of late night barbecues and - of course - a hell of a good time.
