The LC:M Designers Who Should Already Feature In Your Wardrobe
What's so special about London Collections is the way it champions alternative designers and young talent, while maintaining respect for the old guard of Savile Row and industry heroes such as Alexander McQueen. It's a really unique combination of talent that you won't see at any other fashion weeks.
J.W.Anderson manages to translate his womenswear design philosophy over to his menswear collections very well, toying with silhouette and keeping it playful. I'm very much looking forward to seeing where he'll take it this season.
Oliver Spencer is great for commerciality; his collections are always really wearable straight from the catwalk. He's a big friend of MR PORTER – we've done numerous exclusive collaborations with him, notably his recent Loungewear collection.
Richard James is another mainstay here at MR PORTER and he always delivers at LC:M. He's one of a select few Savile Row designers who have managed to ply their trade very well in the casualwear arena as well as with iconic tailoring.
KINGSMAN: The Secret Service. The presentation that I'm most excited about this season is our partnership with costume designer Arianne Phillips and the movie. We're showing the collection at LC:M on 11 January. The entire wardrobe of the secret agents from the movie is available exclusively on MR PORTER and it's something of an industry first – a great project to be a part of!
